Mesolithic paintings may be found in a number of locations connected to different eras, including Sambhalpur, Orissa, and the Suhagighat caves in Mirzapur, Sundergarh, and Madhya Pradesh’s Bhimbetka. Additionally, these paintings may be found in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Numerous scenarios, such as hunting, group dances, music, tools, a mother with her children, pregnant ladies, people carrying dead animals, etc., are shown in these paintings.

Men were most likely connected to hunting activities because of this. Animals had to be killed and harmed during the hunt. There is a certain emotional strain produced by these kinds of activities.
